The Hornets take on the Ark City Bulldogs on Sept. 19.

The outcome was in doubt until the final play and even then it took a minute for the officials to make the call.  'Catch' or 'No Catch'  you decide for yourself (if you can).

I'm glad that I didn't have to make the call in real time.  The pics at the end were taken at 10 frames per second in very low light.

I suggest clicking on the slideshow option (seen on top right) to view the images.  Controls for the slideshow will appear on the bottom of that screen (move your cursor to the bottom of screen) or use the spacebar and left/right arrows.

Click on a picture, then 'add to cart' to purchase an image from Zenfolio.  Proceeds go to the Booster Club.

Being a high school referee entitles you to all the second guessing of an NFL game, virtually none of the pay, and no help from the replay booth!  Plus, you get to have some guy shooting pics from a machine gun speed camera and then posting the pics on the internet so you can be second guessed in perpetuity.  What a deal!

I salute all those refs who make the game possible.  These images show just how difficult a job it can be.  Look at all the action in the last second and the last inch.  Wow.
