The Maize Eagles and Valley Center Hornets inaugurate their seasons September 5, 2008 at Valley Center.
The majority of the photos were taken by noted sports shooter Mike LaBarbera. Mike is my photography mentor and covers sports primarily at the high school and university levels in Wisconsin and Minnesota. It was great fun to shoot together in Valley and I'll be joining Mike to shoot the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire football homecoming on October 4.
